Bruker Avance 400 MHz NMR
The 400 MHz NMR is our most active walk-up system meeting the sample analysis needs of many of the synthetic organic research groups. The QNP probe is most often used in this instrument, allowing direct observation of 1H, 13C, 31P and 19F with a single probe. The system has Z-axis gradients and is capable of running Variable Temperature experiments.
The 400 MHz NMR is capable of doing LC-NMR. An Agilent 1100 HPLC enables researchers to separate their compounds, and the effluent is either stored in a loop fraction collector or injected into the flow probe to run NMR on the samples. The microcell flow probe is capable of handling quantities of 120 ml. The 400 NMR is also equipped with the Gilson 215 accessory, which is able to handle up to 96 samples and is extremely useful in combinatorial chemistry.
Probes available:
- 5mm QNP, capable of 1H/19F/13C/31P
- 5mm Broadband Observe with gradients
- 5 mm Broadband Inverse with gradients
- Flow Probe/3mm Broadband Inverse
