Professor Li received his B.S. degree in Chemistry from Lanzhou University, China in 1993, M.E. in Nuclear Chemistry from China Institute of Atomic Energy, Beijing in 1996 and his Ph.D. from University of Iowa in 2004. He was a Postdocoral associate at Iowa State University from 2004-2006.
