Welcome to the homepage for Hage Research Group at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Our work deals with the study and creation of new separation and analysis techniques for a broad range of  compounds, such as those that occur in biological and environmental samples. Our group is particularly interested in the use of specific binding agents like the antibodies, transport proteins, enzymes, and DNA or RNA in chemical separation. We use these binding agents in various separation methods, including high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and capillary electrophoresis (CE). This gives rise to methods referred to as high-performance affinity chromatography (HPAC) and affinity capillary electrophoresis (ACE).
