Congratulations to four Chemistry students, Diep Dihn, Jessica Peinado, Susie Hall, and Regina Rawlings, who were honored at the February Forum, an annual recognition of women studying science-related fields, sponsored by UNL’s Center for Science, Mathematics, and Computer Education. A total of 69 undergraduate women representing 16 UNL science departments were honored as outstanding women students. Students were selected by their department chairs for their outstanding achievements as junior or senior women studying in the science fields. Sarah Zulkoski-Benson, Science Outreach Coordinator for the Nebraska Experimental Programs to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR)., was the keynote speaker at the February 12, 2008, dinner at the Cornhusker Hotel.
