To Prospective Postdocs and Graduate Students

A graduate student or postdoctoral associate in the Eckhardt group can expect to receive training in solid-state and materials chemistry and physics with significant exposure to one or more of the following specialties: solid-state spectroscopy, optical spectroscopies, lattice dynamical theory, monolayer films, nanotribology, exciton-polariton spectroscopy and theory, solid-state reactivity, organic materials, and instrument design and fabrication.
