A graduate or postdoctoral student in my group can expect to receive training in inorganic/organic synthesis, solvothermal/hydrothermal synthesis, crystal design and growth, structural characterization such as X-ray single/powder diffraction and TEM. They will gain experiences in one or more of the following specialties: solid state chemistry; organometallic chemistry; self-assembly; the design of porous network structures; inorganic materials chemistry.
