Paul hails from Ruthton, MN, and received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. He is a second year graduate student working toward his PhD. Paul’s research is focused on self assembly of porphyrin based frameworks that have catalytic activity toward the oxidation of alkenes.
At NDSU, Paul worked on synthesis and characterization of sensitizers for Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) application and also with nonlinear optical materials.
